College liberal movements

The occupy Wallstreet movement has returned in an anarchist form and has fused with BLM

BLM does not just stand for BLM, it means abolish the police — strategy is smart, proposal is foolish

The police force needs to be rethought but the first step cannot be taking the police away

Cops have the minimum amount of training, it is a certain type of person that becomes a cop these days

It is not good to have people with guns who are not creme of the crop

We need to implement more funding into police to train them better

Police brutality is not the problem, it is a symptom — we need to address the underlying issue (undeserved communities and systemic racism in the judicial system)

The democratic party went from representing individuals to representing businesses and the concept of workers, not individual workers

Don't look at what a system was designed for look at what it accomplishes — the sytem:

  1. Keeps change from happening // organic conservatism — those with power don't want change because it threatens them
  2. Reproduces present patterns of distribution into the futures // lack of opportunity breeds lack of opportunity

Opportunity is hoarded in certain zip codes while others remain desolate

Parties serve their economic constituents rather than its nominal constituents (donors rather than voters)

The constituents of these progressive movements are very passionate but are so against an invisible enemy, they don't know what they are fighting for or against and they don't know how to get to what they want...if they even know what they want

It is a zombified collective fighting a self-created boogeyman

Everyone thinks America is immune to the types of revolutions that happened in Mao-ist China or Communist Russia or Nazi Germany — the structure and values america aspires to makes it unlikely

People are fighting against the very things that make America the leader of the western world — science
