Happiness is social

Satisfaction is more based on how you view your life. What you have accomplished.

We don’t reach our beliefs by clear thinking, we reach them through a process of recall, emotion, bias, and judgement

Delay intuitions — rapidly formed tuitions are rarely good. Delay by thinking about each dimension separately and independently

The best way to overcome cognitive bias is to think in a group where you can implement a system of evaluation

The less information you have, the more likely you are to be biased by the pieces of information available.

Negotiations aren’t about trying to convince the other party it’s about trying to understand the other party

Pre mortem: when you are close to making a decision pretend as though the decision ended up in disaster in 2 years. Write the history of this disaster

Keep a decision journal so you can evaluate yourself objectively after the fact and parse our any systematic errors
