Money is one of the last taboos, no one talks about it. Might be because people use it as a proxy to gauge status / place in the pecking order.
Sports replaced tribal warfare which is where human historically gained their sense of status

People don’t want money they want to be respected and liked
The reason to acquire money is to control your time, be free, not to but nice cars
The key is to get the goalposts to stop moving

People mistake money with a signal of success in life, being successful is being happy, not rich. If you can do both, great. Don’t sacrifice happiness for money
Kids go into investment banking because they think money = success and investment banking pays the most money
