Chaos is when something unexpected happens, represented as feminine — creation and destruction
The ying and yang show the possibility of one existing within the other
To walk the border of the two is the divine way
Shared beliefs allow the world to go round, it simplifies cooperation as well competition
Shared belief systems stabilize human interaction but also is a system of value — a hierarchy of value
Without a hierarchy of value people cannot act or perceive because both require a goal and goals are things of value
Loss of collective beliefs means the world falls into disarray, the maintenance of collective beliefs ensures the existence of conflict
The only way out is through the elevation of the individual, by taking on responsibility in our own lives
We just stabilize at the line between order and chaos, too far to one side is dangerous
Totalitarian certainty, the extreme side of order, shields us from our own ignorance, it is a pathway to hell
